Chapter 16
FAITH

"Thank you Lord for this day. I can't help asking myself how and where faith comes from. In this world there is such confusion. One person says one thing, the other believes in another. There is no discipline. no point of reference; the word of man is considered as valid as your Word. This is why I would like for you to explain what true faith is".
Faith is strictly tied to action. He who ha faith acts in accordance to what he believes. Each person must believe in something during the existence here on earth. Each man chooses from a very young age in what or in whom to have faith. Initially this faith is based in the parents or grandparents but, growing up each man selects the values that are proposed to him and chooses the ones that best apply to his nature. But I have placed in each man the desire to look for me. 228
Each human being is intimately aware that life has a different meaning
than the one which society proposes. 229.
Materialism is contrary to real faith whether it proceeds from a communist or capitalist
ideology.
Without faith man is lost and the value of his faith is tested by the fruits it produces
in a lapse of time.
Every faith is a driving power for man's existence, but not all faith save; only those who
believe in me, in Christ the Savior are saved 230.
Each one should stop once in a while to consider it's life just as if it was over and
evaluate the fruit of it's existence. This would help man to understand where and what he
has placed his faith in 231.
If man had absolutely no faith he wouldn't even have the strength to step out of his
house; each decision testifies ones faith in society, in the state, in the police and in
others.
It's impossible to have faith in God, in the living God, in the creator of the universe,
without knowing me deeply, without knowing my Word, my promises. It's through faith in my
Word that man acquires discernment, strength and determination to define his own choices
232. Only through my perspective of life, man can find the impulse to make decisions, to
carry out difficult tasks, which all lead to eternal consequences 233.
For example, you evangelize someone. I take the seed you have sown and turn it into a plant. In that sense your work has an eternal result. This may well be salvation if the one you have witnessed to is converted and builds an intimate relationship with God, or eternal punishment if he refuses your message 234.
Without faith no one can please me. Whoever follows a faith which is
fruit of his own conviction or the objectives that the world presents, is a blind person.
Some people think they are good, but are blind; They are incapable of producing
everlasting fruits.
The lack of faith is not ignorance or disbelief; It's exclusively the desire to get rid of
God, of my teachings. It is the intolerance to submit to God 235.
But the lack of faith does not produce freedom; instead, it produces slavery to a material god which subjects man to mechanisms that can't be eliminated without my help. Man has only two possible choices: either he is faithful to God or faithful to the desire to be rich, to be powerful, and pursue his own egoistic goals.
Man is unable to see that he is caught in the middle of a spiritual war 236 between truth and hate, tyranny and egoism.
I am the God of love and freedom, my adversary is a god of corruption
and evil; whoever is not with me is against me and does not gather with me , but scatters
237.
I will not allow anyone to float without making a definite choice 238; I am the God of
precision, all my laws last forever as you can see in creation, and no one can overturn
them 239.
Those who believe they can live without faith in me but place their
faith in their own idols and ideals, think they can conduct a peaceful and serene life,
and in their own ignorance create defenses or artificial shields which should guarantee a
turbulence free existence.
People make projects without me and plan their days without consulting me. They should not
be surprised then, if what they fear most, all of a sudden happens to them 240; One day I
will knock at their door and I will ask them to render back their existence 241.
All the things they have fought for with their nails, will lose importance in relation to
life. On that day my righteousness won't allow me to save them; their deed will be swept
away like dust in the wind 242.
What really saddens me is when my children run after the present pleasures forgetting to
evangelize and to work consciously and assiduously for my kingdom which is at hand. Woe to
them when my manifestation will expose their lukewarm faith 244.
How immense will be the sadness of my children when they realize how futile the things they fought for were 245.
Today most men completely ignore the complexity and beauty of the place
I am preparing for my children; many do not know that in that society I will create new
tasks and responsibilities, much more important than the present ones, because placed in
an eternal context.
If people searched for the truth , they would certainly place their faith in me, their
behavior would demonstrate this spiritual reality.
But Satan knows how to obscure the human mind because his goal is to drag as many people as possible into condemnation, far away from my blessings 247.
Therefore I tell you: Be aware! And tell your friends to watch out! Because the enemy is strong 248. He has no intention to spare you from the worse. Certainly there is a difference between my children and the common man, because I limit the efficacy of temptation 249.
Everyday I extend my hand of salvation 250 to each person so that they may taste my salvation, my blessing and the joy of living the real faith. The only thing they have to do is open their eyes and notice that the living God is at work to save their lives 252."
